Operating Instructions
1：Insert the SD card
2：Put the switch button on ON” position, so the S5000 is in the
status of power on. When the blue indicator light is lighting all
the time, machine is in standby mode; the screen showed WELCOME”
while starting up.
Note:
1）Encoding format of SD card file is：FAT32
2）The product shuts down automatically 3 minutes after turned on
without doing any operation.
3：Camera Shooting
（1）：Manual Camera Shooting: Press the recording button when the
machine is on, then the blue indicator light starts flashing
continuously, which indicates that the recording is on. Press the
recording button again to stop recording.
Note:
1）Make sure the motion detection switch is on OFF” position when
records manually.
2）S5000 has an automatic cover feature. The system automatically
covers previous records data when the memory card is full, and
there is no situation with memory card fully used.
（2）：Motion Detection Recording：Put the motion detection switch in
position on” when the machine is on. Meanwhile, the motion
detection indicator green light is lighting all the time;
Under the motion detection mode, S5000 automatically enters the
state of recording when there are objects moving within the range
3m around the camera; S5000 continue records when there are objects
continuously moving within the range of video.
S5000 automatically enters standby mode when no object moves more
than 15seconds during recording process, and saves the video data
of object moving process;
S5000 actives recording function again when there are objects
appear in the video range again;
Note
1）Under motion detection mode, the machine automatically saves data
when there is no object moving. Please do not shut off the power
during the process of blue light flashing (recording function is
on). Data cannot be saved if turn off the power by force.
2）Under the state of motion detection continuously recording, the
machine automatically saves video data every 5 minutes. (The system
default automatically saves data every 5 minutes. The interval time
of saving can be selected in the menu)
4：S5000 automatically saves the data when the video ends
Note
1）During recording, if power was shut off by force and the
recording was not stopped at first, the previous video data cannot
be saved.
2）Under long time recording process, the machine automatically
saves video data every 5 minutes. (The system default automatically
saves data every 5 minutes. The interval time of saving can be
selected in the menu)
5：Photograph
In standby mode, photograph function can be achieved by pressing
camera button directly.
Press the camera button and the blue indicator light flash once,
which
indicates the photographing is success.
The picture taking mode supports digital zoom. Toggle MODE” button
up/down can adjust camera focal.
6：Starting and Camera Shooting
S5000 supports the function of recording while the machine is turn
on：
When S5000 power switch is in ON” position, motion detection
switch is in OFF” position and connected with car inverter or power
adapter, the machine automatically opens the recording function;
S5000 automatically saves video data and shuts off when disconnects
with car inverter or power adapter, (If user needs to manually turn
on S5000 after automatic shutoff, he only needs to tap recording
button, then the S5000 will be turned on and in standby mode. At
that time it is in battery supply status).
During recording, tap recording button stops recording; Repress
recording button actives recording again (Similar with manual
function in this step )
